Using my interpretation of the novel, 1984, by George Orwell, I illustrated this book cover. Within the dystopian society the story lives in, there are common themes of death and loss of identity. Through repetition of vertical lines to emulate bar codes and drawn CCTV lenses, it is implied that the government is always watching.
